UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at an official ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. President Lee began his state visit on Monday and was received with a grand welcome that included national anthems, a 21-gun salute, and a full honour guard ceremony.
The arrival ceremony also featured a flypast by Al Fursan, the UAE Air Force aerobatic team, adding a symbolic display to mark the occasion. Traditional Emirati songs and dances were performed as children waved the flags of both nations along the reception route.
Senior UAE leaders attended the ceremony, reflecting the importance of the visit. The delegation included Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad. The visit aims to strengthen the growing strategic partnership between the UAE and South Korea.
